Finally--my day off. Yesterday I was completely exhausted. I couldn't even open my eyes past 10 p.m., so I went to bed. This morning I'm feeling more refreshed and not as tired. Part of my day, however, will be doing laundry (towels and sheets and stuff) and tidying up, since we'll have a little game night at the Smith house tonight.

What I should be doing is working on freelance design stuff. I am backed up with the baby website that had a navigation re-haul and there's a bunch of things that I need to do, like create new icons, make new templates, etc. Once I finish that, I have a logo, a DVD cover, another website, etc. Then, I've also got an estimate from the printer to make cards that have some of my watercolors on them. So, I've just got to get to this stuff.

Speaking of watercolors, I painted a few images the other day and scanned them in (without looking at them). Then I went to the framer to get them framed. Then, days later, I opened up the images to place on my Flickr feed and was CRUSHED when I saw that the scans did not come out well AT ALL. My paintings were quite good. I'll have to see if I can take a successful picture of them without glare once I get them back from the framer.

Hey, look at what I just came across. It's this new website called ShortCuts. It's a website that has coupons on it. You register your rewards card on the site and then select the coupons you're interested in and it will automatically associate those coupons with your card when you go to the market. I think this is brilliant! I registered, but was disappointed to see that they don't have many coupons up there. I do, however, think that they might get more because I assume that it's a new service.

Well, I suppose I should get a move-on. Have a good weekend.
