For those of you who want the recipe of the lemon pasta, you can click here. Carrie put it on her recipe blog for me. Do not be fooled by the pictures of macaroni and cheese--that's just the style of the blog.

Last night I was feeling a bit tired and definitely not interested in going to a committee meeting I had last night for Family Promise. However, once I got there I became enthused! I just love working on this project to help alleviate homelessness in the Burbank area. I also love that I'm working with people who belong to different churches/synagogues in the community. It's really exciting to work together to make change in our community. Our next big meeting is next Thursday, which also happens to be my birthday. I keep debating about whether or not to go. I enjoy going to the meetings and I feel that they're important and that I would feel out of touch if I didn't go, but at the same time it is my birthday. SO...I'm still on the fence, but leaning on going to the meeting and celebrating my birthday the following day.

Weekend plans. I'm actually not really sure what I'll do...it's a little hazy. Saturday morning I think Gavin and I will take on Joey and Carrie in tennis. Saturday afternoon Gavin might be taking me up to Santa Barbara for a day trip for my birthday. Sunday no real plans. Monday pool party.
