![]() Oh, my, I am so tired. How is it all of a sudden 11 p.m. again and I have achieved absolutely nothing tonight? I am not sure. Work continues to get better. Today was better than yesterday, which was better than Monday. So that is a good sign. Today I had an "I-told-you-so" moment regarding the finished size for these posters I'm creating but I was very good not to point this out and to instead be gracious about having to re-size everything back to the original size I first proposed before I was told that it was "much too small." Instead, I reveled in it in my head and then, after work, told Gavin and my family all about it. The ice is pretty good at this company...not hospital good, but good nonetheless. And they have an ice machine so I can go and get it whenever I want and it won't smell or taste like freezer burn. That is a major bonus. Also a major bonus: a kitchen with all sorts of free food. I take advantage of this mostly in the morning because I can cut the breakfast bit out of my routine and then just enjoy a free breakfast at work. Yesterday it was Cheerios & banana. Today it was a cinnamon raisin bagel, one side with whipped cream cheese, the other with whipped butter. And a mid-morning apple. Who knows what I will do for breakfast tomorrow. By the toaster there is this jar of Nutella that calls to me (I've managed to turn a blind eye so far). Wednesdays they have a farmers' market out in front of the library. And since I'm in front of the library and LOVE farmers' markets, I went to that for lunch and had two delicious empanadas. But the greatest part about the farmers' market today was this one bread vendor. No one was stopping by his booth so, as I was passing by, he said something like, "Don't forget to buy your bread, like you did last week and ended up regretting it!" - Jenny, 6/18/2008 10:51:00 PM |
