I lost tonight in tennis, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0. I am disgusted with myself and I don't even want to talk about it. The thing is that I don't feel that I played that badly, but I must not have played well at all if I wasn't able to even win one game. So annoying. I used to be able to win 3 games fairly regularly, but I just haven't been able to win hardly any lately.

Anyway. Enough of that, or else I will not sleep tonight.

Here's some good news (maybe). My fortune tonight from Panda Express (best Chinese fast food EVER) is: Next summer, you will dance to a different beat. This fortune could go either way, actually. It depends on how you define the beat that I'm dancing to right now, doesn't it? And that beat is a bit of a mystery to me...what is it? I'm not sure that I hear it. Regardless, I'm going to believe that the beat I'll be dancing to next summer (does it mean next summer or this summer?) will be a good one and that I'll be able and like to dance to it.

I started reading The Kite Runner tonight at the housesitting house. I almost wish I hadn't started it - I really need to reign in the number of books I'm reading at once. I read up to chapter 5 and I like it so far. So I'll just have to be good and apply myself. I think I'm close to being done with The Rise of Christianity, which I have found to be very interesting.

OK, time to go to the alternate house and care after the dog. I have to mix cottage cheese in with his food and it makes my stomach turn every single time. Lumpy dairy. Gross.
