Today was a busy, busy day. It did not help that the last thing I wanted to do this morning was get up - I ended up sleeping in 20 minutes past when I should have woken up, but managed only to be about 7 minutes late to work. Not bad. Then I saw 41 (41!) patients today. By the time I left work I was exhausted. I don't know if I've seen that many patients in one day for awhile. And that was on top of going to trauma rounds and meeting with another chaplain and the social worker. Busy least there were no traumas or codes called when I was on-call this morning (one of the benefits of being on-call in the AM, rather than the PM!)

Then I picked up Nicole and we went over to Santa Monica and walked around and had dinner. It was nice. Tomorrow morning we'll go over and take a tour of Warner Brothers and then from there drive down to people watch in Venice and then make it over to Pasadena for dinner. So pretty much we're traversing all of Los Angeles.

Here's some good news: Clementines? Just picked some up at the store for $3.99. Glorious, glorious winter fruit!

I can't believe that it's 11 p.m. and I've felt like I could have gone to bed at least two hours ago. Furthermore, I can't believe I'm still up and have no idea when I'll have a chance to work on this thing that I really need to complete by this weekend...hmm.....
