![]() Going to the batting cages tonight was really fun. Dave (aka #1 Dodger Fan), Nathaniel, Joey and Carrie and I went and hit a few balls. Tyler was the special guest who appeared a bit later. Joey and Dave are joining my softball team in the fall, so they needed to practice how to hit a slowpitch softball. I think they did really well. I also did very well at hitting (I am super excited to start up again!), although there was one hit that I made that ricocheted off of the fence and almost hit a very little kid who was batting in another cage, but how could I have helped that? So I'm thinking of starting a slow-pitch softball team on Sunday afternoons. I was going to try to get a team together for the fall, but I think that I've probably passed the deadline for that, so probably I'll try for the winter league. I think I probably have enough friends from my various circles to form a team, but I'm not sure I'd know enough girls who'd be interested in playing. The team could be like six degrees of Jenny. If you're interested and you're in the Burbank area, let me know. Tonight I was reminded of Mah Jong. I used to play that game a few years ago (I think with Shane?) and it just occurred to me that I miss playing it. Speaking of games, I would really love to be on Cash Cab. Also speaking of games, I have not made good on my vow to play the Wii every day this week. Next time I play it, I will likely score "80" in my Wii "fitness." - Jenny, 8/22/2007 10:13:00 PM |
