I read it somewhere on the Internet...

I woke up with a sore throat this morning and it's still here, driving me crazy.

So I'm not sure how I found out about this guy, but I downloaded Ray LaMontagne's album "Trouble" at the end of April and have listened to it over and over again. I really like it. Today I discovered that there's a more recent album that he has, which I promptly downloaded. You can check out some of his music over at his myspace site.

This will be an abbreviated post because Blogger's acting weird and I posted yesterday already. I have a softball game later on tonight, which I am looking forward to. It's a late game, after which I will have to promptly go to bed, as I have a super early shift at the hospital tomorrow. I have been asked to come in as additional support because the nurses are going on strike tomorrow. I won't be doing anything nurse-like, but I'll just be going around, listening to the patients, reassuring them that the nurses that the hospital has hired to cover the strike are legit nurses and that their health is the hospital's concern.

My hours at the hospitals kind of suck until the end of the month, which I am finding really frustrating. There's definitely a large part of me that wants to chuck this whole ministry thing and just find a job where you show up at set hours, do your thing, come home and get decently-paid for it. But that's probably the frustration of finding a job talking.
