Denver is awesome! Actually, I'm writing from Golden, Colorado, which once was vying with Denver to be the capitol city. And Golden is awesome. I really like it here. I like the weather (it's cool right now), I like the mountains, I like the place we had dinner, I like the look of the towns, etc.

I also enjoyed driving through Kansas today. It was quite different than what I thought it would be like. I expected completely flat, yellow fields or something, but instead was surprised to see rolling green hills. Drove right through Kyle's hometown of Salina, but didn't give her a call because our lunchtime destination was still 100-ish miles away. Turns out, though, that she's currently in Kansas City and I could have had dinner with her last night. Bummer.

I'm starting to get really tired of driving. Today we finished the book we've been "reading," which was the Nanny Diaries. I think my dad was into it more than I was. I think I just got really pissed off with the characters, both the rich people who were so self-absorbed and with the nanny, who was stupid enough to fall into their way of life. I think I felt the exact same way when we finished "reading" the Devil Wears Prada. I just don't have patience for those types of people, who I am sure exist.

Tomorrow we end up in the south of Utah - something like Cedar City. Until tomorrow, you may feel free to browse my pictures from Boston.
