The Medieval Bestseller
I read it somewhere on the Internet...

I have only 4 minutes to post today. I am preaching for class in approximately 25 minutes and then I have class and various appointments this afternoon, so I better get what I can out now. After this rapid post, I will practice my sermon and then go in and deliver it. This is my Mary and Martha sermon, which perhaps I will put online later on tonight or maybe tomorrow. I've been itching to update my website lately, but there's just no time.

My room is in much better shape, which means that I am feeling better about life in general. All of those clothes piles have been dealt with (although I do have a couple of loads of laundry to do). Actually, it made me wonder how I can have so many clothes yet feel like I never have anything to wear. I've started to pack up boxes of books and (winter) clothes to ship home.

Yesterday I got a couple of compliments from friends that were really meaningful to me and helped me to remember that I am important in this world. It's good to remember that and that is something that I am very prone to forget.

My alarm is telling me that it is now time to brush my teeth and practice my sermon!
