The time change always hits me way worse the second day. I am EXHAUSTED today. But, here's the nice thing. I was hoping that it would rain today and not be beautiful (as it has been over the past few days) so that I would have more motivation to stay inside and do work, primarily today to work on my funeral sermon. Amazingly enough, it is cold and dreary outside - just what I wanted to happen. Now let's see if this pays off...

Also of note, I have three alarms on my alarm clock. Since it is hard for me to get up, I set them all at intervals in the morning, like: 6:30 a.m., 7 a.m., 7:30 a.m., and I would ideally get up at 7:30 instead of setting it later. a.) That didn't happen today - I pushed it back until 8 a.m. b.) Upon getting up to turn one off (the alarm clock is on the opposite side of the room from my bed), I turned it off and then went to go back in bed, but instead missed the bed completely and slammed my knee on the bedpost as I fell into the chair I have beside my bed. I didn't know what to do - feel excruciating pain, or go back to sleep.

Ah, today is getting off to a great start. Prayers for me as I try to write a sermon today are appreciated.
