I'm not sure how diligent I have been at doing the work that I desperately need to get done. I have been doing it, but I just don't know if I've been doing it quickly enough. I started on the exegesis for the funeral sermon I have to preach next Friday. I'll preaching about the demise of one of my classmates and friends, Tony. We were given the option to either develop a sermon based on a case study (a paragraph about a fake person that gives various information about the person) or to pick someone in our class. Tony and I decided to preach about each other's death. I am giving him a long life and have even consented to have him be the Moderator of the General Assembly. Tony has determined that I will be mauled by a bear on a youth retreat weekend.

Anyhow, tonight is the Gold Patrons Party, an annual party held by my friends on the 4th floor. I'll go, but I think I also have to paint something for my Aunt Ellie before tomorrow, because she and Uncle Scott will be driving down tomorrow from Albany. Tomorrow I'll show them around Princeton, Sunday we'll go to church, and then they will return to Albany to fly home. Then I have a day or two to continue working until Carrie comes on Tuesday night.

I was hoping that it would be more spring-like for Aunt Ellie's visit. THere are some trees that are blooming but, for the most part, there's still a lot of dead trees out there.
