The Medieval Bestseller
I read it somewhere on the Internet...

So I was going to read in my time before my next class (2:30p), but then I started IMing with Megan and Adam (Yates, not Cleaveland) and now I realize that it would be fruitless to begin reading with only 20 minutes before class. So, I might as well blog. I have this list next to my computer with all sorts of topics I can blog about.

Currently, I'm trying to figure out how to best do my new Hebrew homework. This homework is such that I have to turn in a voice-recording of a verse from Hebrew scripture. The conventional, boring, old-fashioned way is to go get a tape and take it to Media Services and then record it onto the cassette and then bring that into class. WELL, this is much to easy for me, so I've decided that I'm going to try to figure out how to use my internal microphone on my Mac to record an MP3 of my pronounciation and then hand in a CD or something with the MP3 neatly labeled on it. Adam has been great enough to help me find some software (the only bad thing is that the two I like are shareware--not too bad of a price, though) to do this. That is what has taken up my time this afternoon. So, now I just have to go get some CDs to record on, since I didn't bring any with me when I moved across the country.

So I went to DBar with Nicole on Friday night. It was different than I expected. Much more low-key. It started to pick up as we left around 11:30p, so maybe we needed to stay longer. Don't know--all I know is that I got a pale ale that was totally bitter and I couldn't drink much of it.

My flag football team (the Tailgaters) lost pretty badly in our scrimmage this past Saturday morning. It wasn't a league game so it doesn't really count. My team consists of mostly married people whom I've never seen on campus before. I really like them and am very excited to go to our next practice and our first (real) game on Saturday. I've learned cool info like when the QB calls out numbers before having the C hike the ball--those are actual plays our team has (supposedly one of the guys on the team is going to put our plays on his website and have it be password protected). Anyway, time to go to class.
